Yes you can attend the Masters

A ticket to the Masters Tournament is called the hardest ticket to get in sports.

A waiting list to obtain tickets was started in 1972, but closed in 1978. In was reopened in 2000, only to be closed shortly thereafter. So getting a ticket to the actual tournament is hard. But there are other ways to see the greatest golf course in the world.

1. Tickets are available to the practice round Monday-Wednesday. With a ticket to Wendesday, you can also see the Par 3 Contest. To obtain a ticket, you can send a request for a practice round ticket application to:

Masters Tournament
Practice Rounds
PO Box 2047
Augusta, GA 30903-2047

Tickets are selected by random and you'll probably have a good chance at getting one. Getting your friends and relatives to apply might increase your chances. You also get access to buy Masters merchandise for you and your friends.

2. To get a ticket to the main tournament, there are plenty of people selling trips for thousands of dollars. I wouldn't recommend this.

3. The best way to get a ticket to the tournament: Move to Augusta and make a lot of friends. There are a lot of people in Augusta who have tickets, but don't go every day or may not go at all. If you live in Augusta, chances are you can ask around for a ticket.
